I was finally able to get my car in to my regular mechanic (who has always done very well by my family and myself) and was told that my car did not actually have any significantly loose parts, that the only thing I need at this time would be the realignment.
I don't know if this was a matter of being taken advantage of as a young woman dealing with car related issues on her own (unfortunately this would not be the first time, which is why I sought a second opinion), or some other reason - but regardless of the reason I was quite frustrated by the experience.
Best shop locally, I use them for all my repairs and inspections! They are friendly, and really know what they are doing :)
I have to say that my experience was not quite as great as it seems others have had. A few weeks back I had gone to have a realignment done and was told that due to loose parts they would not be able to realign until that had been fixed. I was referred here as they had weekend hours which my regular mechanic unfortunately does not. I do have to say that they were great about getting me in quickly (the reason there are two stars not one). I was told that the repairs on my vehicle were going to be far more extensive than originally thought - I was told that basically my entire front end had to be rebuilt.
Steve is good people. I don't know his technicians but that is mostly because I haven't asked to meet them. Bring that I'm a mechanic as a hobbiest, I really appreciate how open and helpful he is when I have any questions for him. Good business and good people. Highly recommended.
Exellent service half the cost than I expected.
Dunk was a hard act to follow, but Steve is up to the task. Honest, fast and has a couple top notch knuckle busters also working to keep your vehicles in prime condition. Highly recommended!
