ABSOLUTELY YES! I was in Keene for a wedding. I have super curly and long hair and the New Hampshire heat/humidity was killing me. The day of the wedding I thankfully got in at MJD with Liz for an up-do. The atmosphere was pleasant and she was phenomenal! I am a pretty easy client- I requested 'something not as formal as the bridal party, but up and off my neck/face. And incorporate a little braid if you could'. She did just that and I loved it! I got SOO many compliments! From complete strangers even. Liz even straightened my hair perfectly- curly girl's know how amazing that is! The braid was even in every portion and my OCD never picked out one spot I didn't like. My hair stayed through all the elements against it and even looked messy cute the next day through my horrible flight home through and to the mid-west. Testimonial in itself: a curly girl who a had perfectly straight, volume-ized ballerina bun for TWO days! The price was awesome too! No excuse not to tip Liz well! I obviously can't speak from experience about the other stylists but the ones there with clients around me also all sounded very personable and professional as well. There wasn't one customer (there were male and females there) who walked out with me thinking 'Really...?'. Definitely recommend!!
