A good all around place sit, relax and have breakfast or lunch. The coffee is good and the food tasty. I recommend the establishment all the time.
Been a favorite lunch place of mine for years. Good consistent food & service, a downtown Keene landmark. Family run diner with daily specials. Comfort food. Good chowder, Greek salad, summer cold plate specials and club sandwiches.
Love this little restaurant in Keene, nh anytime we are in the area in the morning this is where we eat. Comfy cozy wonderful people who work there. Clean and good food
Food has been good the few times I've been here. Nothing special. Service is slower than it should be. And when warmups are listed on the menu and "included with food" the coffee cup should not go empty. Waitress even asked if I wanted more!
The patty melt was the bomb! Fried were good. Coffee was decent (I'm picky, so my "decent" is some people's "great"). My bf got a breakfast special with eggs and toast etc, and he was very happy. I ordered Cole slaw as a side, and it was fresh and made in-house. It wasn't my favorite type, I prefer vinegary slaw, but I enjoyed the crunch, and it wasn't bitter like that pre-made stuff.
I have, literally, eaten dozens of meals at Timoleon's. Never once have I left unsatisfied with the quality of food, service or timeliness. The prices are reasonable and staff friendly.
