I am deeply disappointed in this company in both their customer service and professionalism.
2.) I recently went into their store for help with a laptop that had been fried by a faulty charger. They wouldn't take it to even see if there was any obvious damage and informed me they couldn't find the laptop charger on any of their websites, even though I got it from them two years ago. They offered no options and I was out of luck.
Here are some choice ones.
I've been let down by Staples and their staff on many occassions in ways that were quite major. Their staff are often unable to give me yes or no answers to problems.
Jess was a great help for our company business cards in their print shop. She is very pleasant & knowledgeable. The deal for my cards was excellent as i created it with one of my employees right on site. Got the upgraded card stock & made a 2 sided business card that will be ready by days end. Got there around 11:30 with no idea of what to get other than a plain ole' card. She led us to the website & we made our own from many choices they offer in template form .. plus we were out by 1pm super satisfied .. so far so good.. i will follow up when she calls me to pick up my 500 cards today.. Plus it's fathers day too.. I'm a grandad so I was amazed they were even open..
1.) I was told I would get a laptop I bought through them in two weeks. When I got no call around the three week mark I went in. The laptop hadn't even been ordered by them. I needed it desperately for college courses.
Just dashed into pick up a small office supply. Shortly I was greeted by an apparent employee stocking items. He very cordially stocked his item and brought me right to the best aisle explaining that there were a few different items that might do the trick. It was easy to make a quick selection and head to the counter. The store was bright, neat, clean and the displays were inviting...enough to pull me to peruse the laptop display and then head up front. As I waited - not even a minute, another person greeted me and said that he could take me on the next register. Upon providing my name for the rewards program he broke into song using my name! LOL You have to love a place where clearly the employees make their day fun and have the shoppers smiling! Hey, I'm no babe- this was just fun! Go shop Staples in Keene! May you have a good experience.
I had to get a new computer for my home office and after narrowing it down online I went into the store in Keene to look them over. The sales associate Ricky G was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and was very helpful!
Update: at 3:30 Jess called & said my cards were ready.. OMGosh they came out excellent plus I'm glad we upgraded to the premium card stock as it not only looks great but feels top quality..! Thanks again .! super happy.!
These people are seriously dumb. Their Support Department can never ever seem to have a helpful suggestion. They seem very underwhelming in their product knowledge and ability to assist or figure out issues with computers/lap tops. They seem more willing to list all the possibilities of what MIGHT be wrong, and more or less press you towards the sales staff. I think one comment I got was "well in this day and age most computers are pretty much throw-away's anyway".
