Was actually there quite a few time, three times for service myself within my 5 day stay in Keene. I was there for a wedding and the bridal party was having their hair and make up done there. I went with the bride to have her eyebrows done and decided to make an appointment for waxing myself for the next day. I was very pleased with the stylist (I feel bad I can't remember her name, and I can't just say shoulder-length blond about an employee at a salon lol), the products used, and the time taken. She asked all the right questions and poised them very professionally. Let's just say I had a lot going on and never felt offended haha. The price was good too! 24 dollars! I also did some shopping there too since TSA took everything except my toothbrush, deodorant, and hair dryer. They even had my FAVORITE hair spray! (#23) Good prices and an AWESOME two-week guarantee/return policy I was openly informed of when I asked for advice on products. I never took advantage though- no need! Also open till 9pm some nights so that's convenient. They were kinda booked up though- but I take that as testimonial. One recommendation to the salon is to update the website- you guys have obviously updated and should show it off! :)
I came to The Main Salon for my bridal hair and make up. My bridesmaids and I had a great experience! We were able to set up food and drinks to enjoy while we were at the salon. Ashley did my hair and it was unbelievable! I gave her very little direction because I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted and she took my jumbled explanation and created an elegant up-do that met all my requests and stayed up all night. I absolutely loved my hair! Everyone else's hair was equally as beautiful and the make up artist did a fantastic job.
I haven gotten great cuts every time I have been there.
Great place, vibe is relaxing, doesn't smell crazy like chemicals. Always gone on for just wash and cut. Ashley has always been who I've gone to; she's very patient with explaining. Never felt "rushed" to describe what I want, or embarrassed if I wasn't being very clear. Other stylists/regular patrons have a friendly vibe as well.
I went for a mani/pedi. I like the environment but the customer service wasn't great. The woman doing my nails didn't really greet me..just sat me down and didn't say much. a couple of women who worked there were friendly and thought that was great! She did a decent job but kind of messy around my cuticles and then didn't fully clean the polish off my skin around my toes. When she was cleaning up, she threw a tray into the empty pedicure bath right next to me ..and I just saw it as unprofessional and seemed like she didn't care much. However, the pedicure felt great so it was nice that I could relax a bit while there .
